Kids Cook!™ classes are held year round.  September through May we offer after-school and weekend classes.  Our week-long summer camps are in June and July.  We are closed the first two weeks in August and the last two weeks in December.

Note:  Our small classes mean that everyone cooks!   All our classes are totally hands-on. Plus, we serve fresh fruit and milk or water with all Kids Cook!™ menus.

 

Kids Cook!™ Café – Session 1      CLOSED

June 16-20, 2014 – 5 days
9 am -11:00 am
Open to kids 6-8 years old
$90 plus $40 supplies fee  Includes a recipe book, cooking utensil and snack

Be the chef at your own restaurant!  Prepare, cook and serve your creations to your customers. Best of all: a different restaurant everyday!  This five day class is designed to encourage independence, to nurture interest in cooking, develop skills and have fun!  Children take home a personalized recipe book, extra tastes and a cooking utensil. Offered through Pulaski Academy’s Summer at the Academy program.  Held at Pulaski Academy, 12701 Hinson Rd., LR  72212    Open to non-PA students.  Maximum enrollment:  12 students

 

Kids Cook!™ Cooking, Cookbooks & More    CLOSED

Choose the recipes, test the recipes, then put them into your own cookbook.  We will cook and bake in our recipe testing kitchen using Kids Cook!™ recipes and recipes from home, then put the recipes into our own custom designed cookbooks.  Junior chefs take home a personalized recipe book, extra tastes and a cooking utensil.  Offered through Pulaski Academy’s Summer at the Academy program.  Held at Pulaski Academy, 12701 Hinson Rd., LR  72212     Open to non-PA students.  Maximum enrollment:  12 students

Open to kids 4-5 years old
$65 Includes all ingredients, recipes, cooking utensil & snacks

We practice making healthy snacks and meals.  In each class the children prepare one or two simple recipes, set the table and eat what they have made.  Each child has the opportunity to work through the process and practice the cooking skills.  The class is designed to encourage independence, develop skills, nurture interest in cooking and be fun.  Held at the Little Rock MontessoriSchool, 3704 N. Rodney Parham Rd., LR.  Open to non-Montessori students.  Maximum enrollment:  12 students

 

Little Kids Cook!       A FEW PLACES AVAILABLE
July 21-25, 2014 – 5 days
10 am – Noon
Open to kids 6-8 years old

Big Kids Cook!       WAIT LIST ONLY

Wild Kids Cook!       CLOSED
July 28 – August 1, 2014   5 days
9 am – 12 pm
Open to kids 8 years old & up
$200   Includes $50 non-refundable registration fee, recipe book and snacks

We are delighted to be back at Wildwood Park for the Arts this summer!  Campers will receive hands-on training in the kitchen and basic cooking and food preparation skills while exploring various cuisines from around the world including Mexican, African, Chinese and more!  Wild Kids Cook! Includes a field trip to the Historic Arkansas Museum garden and will culminate in a camper-prepared lunch for friends and family.  Held at Wildwood Park for the Arts, 20919 Denny Road, LR   72223

Cooking for the College Bound!       PLACES AVAILABLE

Hey college bound teens!  Learn how to fight the infamous Freshman Fifteen!  This class will offer easy, quick, affordable and healthy menus for those who will soon be on their own.  Learn by doing, with great recipes, in a fun and creative environment.  We will cover breakfast, lunch, dinner and sweets.  This class is totally hands-on.  Come hungry!

Offered through Pulaski Tech’s Community Kitchen program.  Held at Pulaski Tech’s brand new Community Kitchen at the Culinary Arts & Hospitality Management Institute, 13000 Interstate 30 (just west of the Bass Pro shop).    Register directly with Pulaski Tech by calling Emily Martin, 501-907-6670 x3407 or esmartin@pulaskitech.edu.  Maximum enrollment:  12 students

 

Participation is limited and these classes will fill.  Register early to avoid disappointment! 

 

Kids Cook! Cancellation Policy:  Fees are due at the time of sign-up in order to reserve your place. In order to avoid being charged the full price of the class, cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance. Registrations cancelled 48 hours in advance will be refunded minus a $15 administrative fee.  You may transfer your registration to another participant or another class and avoid the fee.  In some cases, the sponsoring school or organization’s cancellation/refund policy may take precedent and a refund may not be available.  Inquire if you are uncertain.
