Fresh Salsa

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups chopped fresh tomatoes, any type or color
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped finely
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • ½ t shallot, diced, optional
  • ½ t jalapeno pepper, seeded and diced, or more to taste
  • Salt, to taste
  • Chili powder, optional, to taste
  • Cumin, optional, to taste

Combine all salsa ingredients in a glass bowl. Cover and refrigerate for 2-3 hours to let the flavors blend.
